 Real-Time 3D
Real-time 3D enables a 'viewer' to participate within a three-dimensional visualisation or environment. If the user wants to turn right or left, change a product's colour, manipulate an object etc, they can. When trying to communicate complex visual ideas, real-time 3D lets the viewer consume layers of information at their own pace.
The most common use of real-time 3D in the public domain is in the computer gaming industry. Other uses of this technology include high-end flight simulators in the aerospace industry, and fully immersive Virtual Reality environments in the petroleum and automotive industries. |
